Not delivering on seemingly small tasks or promises can both build and break a reputation.
- Not returning phone calls
- Not going to the company party when you sent your RSVP
- Not returning emails
- Not doing that copy you said you would do
- Not fixing that computer issue you were asked to fix
There are a million other tiny things that you can choose to do or not do. The point is that the LITTLE things matter.
People will start to remember and when that new awesome project is about start or review time comes along you want people to say ‘You know what I can always count on him’ and not ‘Who?’.
